Repairs and tune up: $615. Ambulance and hospital bill: You don’t want to know. (Thank God for good insurance!) Weeks off of work: 3. Weeks spent on crutches: 6. Walking and getting to ride with Skeeter again: Priceless. Missed you, let’s not ever do that again.
The only thing abt busting up your scoot is getting to visit Buster at the scooter shop. (at San Francisco Scooter Centre)
I believe this is the longest I’ve gone without riding my scooter. I will come for you soon, Skeeter. I have not forgotten you, my love.
Got in a scooter accident yesterday and spent most of the night in the ER. I’m ok, nothing broken, just bruises and scrapes mostly. I banged up my foot pretty bad though and am on crutches for the time being. Thankfully Skeetz and I are both going to be ok, but we may spend some time apart for now. I’m grateful for the guys who picked me and Skeeter out of the street, the police/medics/nurses/doctors who took care of me (no hard feelings about the pants, guys), and my Grady boys for keeping me company.
Here’s a pic of me in the ER before they decided I didn’t break my spine, just call me Trauma Sierra!
